Our experts have developed a new reagent that binds dust on dusty surfaces – waste dumps, roads, waste rock storage facilities, and other similar areas

Our firm’s specialists have developed a technology for dust fixation on dusty surfaces, along with a special reagent that ensures dust emission blocking for at least three months. The technology and reagent have undergone testing in the waste rock storage facilities of the Northern Mining and Processing Plant of the Metinvest Group. A total of 15 hectares of surface area was successfully treated with positive results. Compared to other reagents, ours is the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

The Board of Founders of LLC Kryvbas Ecotechnologies has made a decision to become a partner in the AI-DeCarbonMINE project consortium, which will be submitted to the ERC Advanced Grant competition (ERC-2025-AdG) within the European Union’s research and innovation program “Horizon Europe”

Industrial trials of the technology were conducted between 2019-2023 in the quarries of companies including “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih,” and the Central, Northern, Southern, and Inhuletskyi Mining and Processing Plants of the Metinvest Group, as well as “Rudomine” LLC and “Ukrainian Mining Company.” Under the Agreement between PJSC “ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih” and the Research Institute for Occupational Safety and Ecology (Contract No.212 dated 04.02.2021), positive results and recommendations were obtained regarding the implementation of decarbonization technologies and dust suppression from non-stationary sources of pollutant emissions.
We are confident that our collaboration will be mutually beneficial in the context of implementing tasks to achieve the European Green Deal objectives, specifically in developing standardized protocols for the application of decarbonization and dust suppression technologies during mass explosions in quarries, as well as developing methodological recommendations, regulatory documents, and EU standard projects within the project work packages.
